KOSMOSUIT

ONE ARCHITECTURE.FOUR ENVIRONMENTS.

Kosmosuit is a modular human systems platform. The pressure structure, the data spine and the life support interfaces stay constant from a saturation dive to an orbital EVA. Only the environment-facing layer changes. A variant is a reconfiguration of a qualified platform, not a new suit.

The incumbent model

EVERY ENVIRONMENT, A NEW PROGRAMME

Protective suits are built one environment at a time. A saturation diving suit, an aircrew ensemble and an EVA suit are developed by different teams, against different standards, on separate qualification campaigns that each run for years. Nothing carries between them.

An operator running joint missions fields four unrelated systems. Four supply chains, four training pipelines, four bodies of certification evidence, four sustainment tails. The expensive part was never the garment. It was qualifying it.

The architecture

QUALIFY THE PLATFORM, NOT THE PROGRAMME

Launch vehicles became economic when the vehicle stopped being consumed by the mission. Suits are at the same point. The qualification campaign is consumed by a single environment, and the next environment starts from zero.

Kosmosuit inverts that. The platform carries the qualification. Life support, thermal regulation, avionics and sensing connect through defined interfaces, so a subsystem can be changed without requalifying the structure around it. The evidence base compounds across variants instead of resetting with each one.

Suit Variants

KOSMOSUIT VARIANTS

One architecture, five configurations. The platform stays constant; the envelope changes.

SENSORSUIT — full sensor-layer thermal configuration
SENSORSUIT
Full sensor-layer thermal configuration. The most instrumented suit in the family, worn as a base layer or as a standalone measurement platform.
CORE-L — land variant for extreme terrestrial operations
CORE-L · Terra
Terrestrial and tactical operations. Heat strain, particulate and CBRN exposure, engineered for long duty cycles on the ground.
CORE-S — sea variant for subsea and maritime operations
CORE-S · Aqua
Subsea and saturation operations. Pressure, thermal loss and long-duration exposure at depth.
CORE-A — air variant for high-altitude flight operations
CORE-A · Vyom
High-altitude and aircrew operations. Hypoxia, G-load and rapid decompression protection.
CORE-X — space variant for extravehicular and orbital operations
CORE-X · Vyom
Extravehicular and orbital operations. Vacuum, micrometeoroid and thermal-cycling protection with integrated life support.
